Ever since I was a Girl , never been afraid of the Dark , at 13 I would run thru my local Forest at 3 a.m. for training.

Occasionally I would stop and think  "am I insane , Women get Raped in broad daylight and here I am running"  never stopped me though.image

I confess that the darkness outside gives me an uncomfortable feeling.

Nothing in the dark that isn't there in the light.

I walk in the darkness but I have no fear. I have a big ass flashlight.

Make up your mind what's big, the flashlight or your bum...hehe

Where do you think the flashlight is??? That's why I always walk around backwards in the dark.

I was more afraid of the darkness when I was younger but not somuch anymore. But still thinking about be outside by myself in the darkness can be pretty scary.

I'm never afraid in the dark. But I realise that a lot of bad things happen when it's dark, so I'm careful...and vigilant

Actually, yes and no, as that depends on the location and the surroundings.

There are certain "cut-throat" areas and sites, where it is really dangerous to walk all alone in the dark (when even police forces avoid to go, unless they are part of well equipped special units) - and that applies for both genders.

But in familiar natural landscapes, rural and urban places, gardens, parks and forests, it can be so romantic!
