Do you ever join in  DWG ?

You make all these great posts for us , just like you did on SH  :)

I just wondered why you don't

Tudie was going Blind and her way of joining in was posting us the quizzes , that so many of us enjoyed

Anyway

Fast as long as it's not that Crap

That has taken me Years because I got half way thru and proceeded to throw the book across the room several times but at least my Friends enjoyed it and it was fun watching them giggling their ass off , showing me the Naughty bits and blushing.  Bless em

The movie is even worse , if that's possible

I'd rather read  50 sheds of Grey  now that is funny

I read faster than many of my friends, but I don't think I'm THAT fast. I hear about people reading a huge novel in one day and I've never done anything like that.

Depends on what I'm reading. Sometimes I won't stop reading until the book is finished. Sometimes the book blows my mind and I have to put it down for a while.

@ Dragonfly

I was reading Norman Wisdoms Autobiography MY TURN  and it made me so tearful and I had to keep putting the book down as much as I wanted to carry on reading it.

He was a Lovable Clown all his Life but his Father was a Brute and his Chjildhood explained to me why he became the Clown / the Fool that everyone Loved .

Wow. I'll have to check that out. Sounds good. I have found some of the saddest people laugh the most. It's a fabulous coping mechanism.

If needed, a fast reader, especially for getting a general impression, but if reviewing, looking into details, proofreading, assessing, or translating, it is preferable to slow down.

I never mastered the art of reading fast. I'm so slow that by the time I finish reading a big book my lips get chapped. :(

Ha! I believe nary a word of that! :)

It's almost true. I'm pretty slow.

Mind you, if I'm reading a textbook I have better reading skills but when it comes to reading a novel I prefer to just amble through it at snail's pace.
