My preferred potato dishes are potato salad and mashed potatoes,

further baked potatoes, roesti (a similar dish like the roasted or hashbrown potatoes) and "gratin dauphinois", "gratin au munster", etc. (grated potatoes)

not to forget steamed potatoes, potato soup, potato bread or gnocchi, ...
