Oh the Joys of April Moods!
March left suddenly, in the night;
April sends first a foolish knight,
a wacky day with changing lights,
some rain and clouds, or windy "flights".
There might be sun, a gentle breeze,
or some grey spots, white from hard freeze;
next to bunches of bright flowers,
laughing blossom - or cold showers.
Gags and jokes around a puddle,
may "befuddle" in a muddle,
cheering at an awkward stumble,
adding to the glorious jumble.
And when people start to niggle
sheepish pranksters tend to wiggle,
while the public loves to giggle
and to see the jesters jiggle.
