I do not believe in some kind of universal law of balance like that, no.  But I do believe it happens sometimes.  I've seen it.

I believe that actions have consequences, which some refer to as karma.

I believ in a higher power who can and does often protect those who love and obey him from some of these consequences, or let the consequences play out as examples to others, or even increase the severity of the consequences for those who are wicked and embrace chaos  


I do not subscribe to the Hindu concept of karma

I certainly do!  And if someone steals something from me, it may take some time, but that person will one day have something stolen from he or she.

Yes, but I believe it's imperfect, so I don't go provoking it for better or worse.
