What can I/We Do to Boost Site Participation?

Good question.  Looking at the number of members compared to the number of participants, you'd think there would be more action.

One would think.  Of course, it's difficult to "participate" on a site that pretty much only has "yes" or "no" responses to questions.

Show up daily, answer what's available, maybe ask one or more questions, thumbs up people according to your criteria for that, post interesting media. This is all I can think of, because I think the owner and mods should be around as well to upgrade the interface and make sure spam and abuse don't take place. I've seen one mod on one day. This place needs to be cared for, by users and admin alike.

Ask fewer inane questions that only have inane answers.

After all, how often do we need to know what people's favorite flavor of ice cream is, etc.?

Claim that God came to you and said that each person must submit 10 questions a day, or he will kill 10 children for each one that doesn't in thier name and hold each one responsible. 

Oh yeah, and you need 10 million dollars by next Friday..

I have tried with asking many questions here and answer many questions and if every person would think like me the site could be more interesting if everyone tried to atleast participate even more.
