If you are a parent, how many hours of television per week do you allow your child to watch?

If I was one I´m not sure if I would put a limit.

During the first go around the rule was 1 hour sometime after homework and dinner and befoe bedtime during the school week. Week ends were open to debate based on conduct. Now those kids are now adults with kids and grand kids of their own. I don't have a problem with my 8 year and TV viewing. It is on line and video games that occupy him like an addiction. There we have a major struggle.

It would depend on the quality of the programming rather than the quantity.  There are some shows I wouldn't want my child watching for three minutes.
