I do think they believe you are trying to recruit or at a minimum draw Blurtit users from their site. Personally I think they are doing a good job of that by themselves. I would not give them the satisfaction of a response. In all likelihood they will block you from the site in the near future anyway.

They've threatened me with it three times now.

Tell them to kiss your ass!

Oops - that looks like trouble.

There seems to be a harsh competition between different Q&A websites, but arent "these other two ..." part of a same organisation?

I have not much information, except for some general details:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blurtit

or https://www.endole.co.uk/company/04555040/blurtit-limited

or https://companycheck.co.uk/company/04555040/BLURTIT-LIMITED/companies-house-data

I hope that providing official links is not unruly, since you and T(h)ink seem to have earned harsh criticisms by doing so - or was there another "cause"?:D

@ Marianne:

LOL, of course there was another cause.  :D  The benighted cowpoke would not have said a word if I hadn't made so much fun of Hillary.  image

Oops, that picture reminds me of my own "yummy sins" during our Christmas holidays - lol ...

And regarding the "other cause", I was referring to Rooster's tribulations with some people on Blurtit; you'd better ask him to tell you the whole story, as I don't know what really happened on Blurtit (several friends spoke of fights, scams, trolls, etc.).

As to all the mudslinging and often "beefed-up" scandals and intrigues around political and financial lead and conflicting interests, many opiniated propaganda spreaders, false, fanatised prophets and other activists do not look into facts and the real causes, and they shrink away from complicated analyses, explanations, decisions or taking a closer look into the roots of the problems, preferring to follow the crowds blindly, fighting rather the symptoms than the diseases (no, I am not referring to you, as I know that you are checking things as much as possible, like I do). But when answering too quickly, certain slips of the tongue can happen to all of us, also with jokes - and mess up things, even with the best intentions - you know, "that awkward moment, when ....":

and we are not in the shoes of the other people whom we are talking to or criticising.

Well - let's conclude that "biodiversity" is interesting and essential for nature.

by

LOL, of course biodiversity is essential for nature... I mean, where would we be without natural selection from diverse choices? We'd still be amoebae, or perhaps nothing at all.  :D

Lol - nice picture! :D

Oh, we forgot about vegetation, like macroalgae, for instance:
