A strict Orthodox Jew is shocked one day when his son informs him, "Dad, I've become a Christian."

The consternated father goes to his rabbi and explains his problem.

The rabbi says, "Funny you should mention that, but my own son told me the very same thing a few days ago, and I don't know what to do either.

The two men decide to travel to Israel and schedule a meeting with the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem for advice.

At the meeting, the Chief Rabbi says, "Funny you should mention that, but my own son told me the very same thing a few days ago, and I don't know what to do either."

The three men agree to spend all night separately praying for divine guidance and to meet again in the morning.

The next morning, the Chief Rabbi says, "After eight hours of prayer, I was able to get in touch with God."

The other two men are breathless with anticipation. "Well, what did He say?  Please, tell us! "

The Chief Rabbi responded, "He said, 'Funny you should mention that...' "

But first, I have to transmit a message; I'll be right back.
