To live? Urban. For everything else: rural.

But I'm lucky. I have the best of both worlds. I live in a village on the Blue Mountains, 60 km west of the Sydney CBD, 90 minutes' drive from the South Coast beaches, and my village is set in the middle of a national park. We take our dog walking in the bush every morning and two or three times a year we see a kangaroo or a wallaby out there. (They don't always come so close to the built-up areas.) Zoe (she's my dog) used to chase them but they bound away effortlessly and she had no chance. She's too old to chase them now but still likes to see them.

Here's where we live. See if you can pick my house:

Oh, I would really like living there and it also sounds like a very nice place.

I wasted a lot of time over the years travelling to work in the city every day but never regretted it. We love the place and it was a good area for the kids to grow up.

Even though I like visiting rural places sometimes. But I´m just more of a city person.

I was born and raised in a rural area, on a chicken farm. I now live in a suburban area, far away from any city. I've been to the "big city" only a dozen or so times in my long life.

It's hard to pick because they're so different. There's a lot more to do in the city (I live in the suburbs myself) and I love that, but sometimes I get sick of all the concrete and the noise and I love being outdoors. I like to visit the rural areas, but I think I'd rather live in a more urban place.

I need to be in nature for at least a few hours of every day.

Both have their advantages.
