What do you miss the most about being a child?

to be that totally carefree lil' beach bum that would swim in the freezing Atlantic, and pop out, grab his blanket and sprint for the hot sand in the dunes where, the hot sand warmed my stomach, and the overhead sun baked my back as my teeth chattered and gulls circled and moaned overhead.
I'd lie there and hear the gulls and the surf, and my eyelids would grow so heavy and then.......I'd fall asleep.
No worries, no place I had to be, no bill I had to pay......just the sound of the sea.

Being carefree and that I worried less and were happier. I had more things in my life to look forward to.

My moms cooking. She made the BEST grilled cheese sandwich in the world. You could taste the love. She would always cut them in quarters and she called them Jimmies and Johnnies. I have no idea why.

Playing outside as a child.

The days when I'd spend half the day playing outside then come inside and doodle in my notebook for hours. Nothing to worry about--it was just fun.

Okay I'm still a kid now, but not like that. I'll at least try to appreciate my teen years :)

Not a darned thing. Whoever said that childhood is the happiest time of your life must have either had a very privileged childhood or a very uninspiring adultery. >:-/
