Opinion: It's not the Syrian War anymore. It's now melded with the Second Gulf War (nope, it turns out it wasn't over just because Bush said it was). This war needs a new name, imho. If DAESH manages to hold on to whatever they've gained and outlast the foreign powers (which they can certainly do), they'll win (they'll still have to deal with the local forces, which has a lot more staying power than the US and Russia). If Putin manages to keep his new pet client-state (Syria) in one piece, he'll have won something. If the Peshmerga play their cards right (and it looks like they are), they'll get something out of the deal too.
Opinion: Every time the word "Anonymous" is used, you should be suspicious. Real Anons would never cooperate with the likes of the CIA and the NSA. The "Anonymous" group that is actually targeting DAESH isn't Anonymous at all, but actually GhostSec - a US intelligence unit created to co-opt and discredit Anonymous.
