Quasimodo because he represented someone who was scorned by society but he rescued a beautiful Gypsy woman and became triumphant for the sake of righteousness.
Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer because he's such a multi-faceted character. I write fanfic and you can do pretty much anything with Spike. He fits into almost any situation while staying in character.
