The editor that is now being used to replace the better ones, doesn't allow you to upload images to the server from your computer...Those images use up server resources. Especially if you are using one of those cheep shared hosting plans with limited storage.
Using this editor forces us to link to images that are stored on other servers all over the internet, thereby preventing large image files from filling up the limited space on the shared Squidix hosting that this site uses.
When sites like this use lots of uploaded files from it's users, it's best for the owner of the site to move up to a more expensive VPS (virtual private server).
