I can only hope that Bernie will win. The USA does not need a religious zealot as president stomping on the rights of all other groups in the country.
Sanders... Sanders has appeal even within the bases of those who don't identify with him ideologically. Cruz has far right wing Conservatives and that's it. Even the 'libertarians' who support him comprise a very small minority within their own voting block as well. Whoever wishes to be potus will need votes outside of their own base and when your sentiment is only expressed by a very small minority of voters even within your own party, it's unlikely you'll find favor with those outside the group regardless of how limited their other options are. lol Not to mention he'll need electoral votes and that's even less likely than him swinging the pop vote.
