Would you rather rent a home or purchase one?

I would prefer to purchase it.

Buy.  That way I can do what I want to my house without worrying about getting my deposit back.

Does kind of suck when it comes time to repair things, though.

It depends on the market Im in.  In Texas much cheaper to own.  Which is where I currently own a house.  In Rhode Island we rent much cheaper than buying.

I am not a movie person, but more likely to rent a movie then to buy one, depending on the circumstances.
