I don't think that we are more pacifist than our neighbours, if considering our own latent inner conflicts among parties, rural and urban regions and linguistic differences, for instance the "Rösti Ditch" or the "Polenta Ditch". But our folks have been taught to be polite and respectful. Yet, mentalities can change ...
