I remember the show when it first came on way-back-when. His voice was very soothing and his painting technique was simple and easy to learn. It took me some practice to master the brush strokes. My problem was framing or creating a scene and not overdoing it. I am glad to see it back in re-runs. I know a few folks who went on to sell some of their work after they mastered his technique. If you are interested in oil painting this is the show you want to have on a disc so you can go back and review when you want. Now his son came out with a book, a behind the scenes type of book. The story about Bob Ross' hair was great.
