Of course! I live in California. Bodie is a long ways away but I've been there twice. Once with my parents and once I took my kids there. Well preserved old Ghost town. Don't forget Fiddletown either!

I heard of several ghost towns (several are still tourist attactions and/or used for movies), and there seem to be at least two towns named Bodie.

Now, I have just been watching the clip, and it is really pleasant - and that includes the Saturday Night Waltz.

The little church looks so neat and charming!

I especially love 'Saturday Night Waltz'. It is hauntingly beautiful, one of my favorites.

(Absolutely amazing what Copland could do with a cowboy folk song.)

And yes, the llttle church is very moving too. "Praise waiteth for Thee, O God, in Zion."
