They seem to still be getting plenty of what they need for their war machine!

The only thing short of war that would really work is if China gets serious about reining Kim in.

By the way, China is worrying since long about their very problematic "neighbour".

This article appeared in November, last year:

I don't know, Marianne, but something about this article rings a little over-optimistic to my mind.  But I hope they are right about China.

Yes, it sounds perhaps too optimistic.

No. Nuclear weapons should be forbidden.

I don't think there will be a war but it may happen. But mostly not.

Rooster, among my circle of friends, both virtual online and in-person, YOU are actually the person I would go with this question...I would like to know what you think?

@Virginia: I think that we will eventually have to go to war with this nutcase! But only if China doesn't get control of their unruly neighbor first. I keep hope that China will shut him down! A war would cost China billions in revenue with the U.S. I try to be optimistic that China will see the light and get this under control.

If they don't? That fool will ignite a spark somewhere and all hell will break loose. It wouldn't take much for that to happen. Let's just hope that China can keep him under control.

If he uncorks the nuclear genie from his bottle? I would hate to be around when it does.

Conventionally?? I think the South could beat the Northern forces with the aid of our Navy. If the Chinese stay out of a ground war. Otherwise, it will be 1950 all over again until they get close to the capitol and then the nukes may fly but our anti-missile systems should hold that back.

With two blow hards facing each other? It's hard to say!
