Aren't you glad you don't live in the Northeast right now with that wicked storm?

I don't know how people can handle that. Just rains where I live and not that much!

But Rooster, I DO live in the Northeast!  :O :'(

Fortunately for us, where we are on Long Island, the "storm" wasn't much.  Yeah, it rained for a day or so, sometimes heavily, but no 60 mph winds, and no flooding to speak of (maybe some big puddles that you had to drive around).  Much ado about nothing, at least around here.  Reminds me of the "severe blizzard" warnings we had a couple of months ago.  Turned out to be 6 inches of snow that melted within 3 days. :D

@Tink : Man, I saw on the news that 21 million people were without power and the huge snowbanks! You must not live where it hit the hardest or the news people are full of crap! LOL

Lol, Rooster, I think maybe some of both.  :D

21 Million without power?  Yeah, maybe if you include everyone whose lights flickered for a second or two. :D :D

But things are tough all over the East Coast.  :D :D :D

You live in what is certainly one of the loveliest places on Earth, Rooster!

We heard about a storm and another to come on the Northeast coast:

Thank you, T(h)ink; as you are living in this part, I can rely on your info.

:)

Marianne, it seems that they usually greatly exaggerate their warnings.

And then, when there is a real storm, there often is very little warning.  :D

@Tink: False news for weather too? How can they live with themselves scaring people like that???

@ Rooster:  yep, this latest "storm" has only given us a little rain so far, no "6 to 12" inches of snow.  :D :D

I like to live there if the power and internet are available. Will be an adventure. Here the weather started to too hot from hot.

Snowfall in South India is almost non-existence. But few times, it had happened.

Yes, I can imagine snow would be exciting in South India, especially for the children.  :)
