I found this wonderful list of phobias...I think my favourite might be triskaidekaphobia, fear of the number thirteen?

Or maybe it is Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia, which is the fear of long words...

Arachnophobia. I can deal with the smaller ones, but once they reach a certain size... :O

Well it is fascinating, O'Tink...I am not usually spider-phobic, but after seeing that...idk...

You would love the American Southwestern deserts, I don't recall exactly what time of year, but I recall coming upon huge tarantulas, hairy guys wandering all over the (dirt) road way. I was very careful to avoid running over them because they were out wandering dizzy in love, mating season...

And glad to stay in my car, too!

Tink it's 2:30 AM here and listening to your scream, I am trying to laugh-out-loud softly...kinda choking...but really, you might enjoy it...I mean, how many people in this world can say they had to drive carefully because the tarantulas were in love? <3  :P

You're much kinder vis-a-vis spiders than I am Virginia.  <3

I would have gunned the car and gotten the h*ll out of there as fast as I could.  :O :O :O
