Tecumseh (/tɪˈkʌmsə, tɪˈkʌmsi/ ti-KUM-sə, ti-KUM-see; March 1768 – October 5, 1813) was a Native American Shawnee warrior and chief, who became the primary leader of a large, multi-tribal confederacy in the early 19th century.
Excellent clip, telling Tecumseh's story. He was one of the Native American leaders that appeared from time to time to resist European settlement of North America. Among others were Pontiac, Geronimo, Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse.
