We eat a lot of pies in Oz -- some of them are fruit pies, some of them are not. The most memorable pie I ever had was a seafood mornay pie I bought in the tropical north in 1991. That's about a quarter of a century past, and it remains my fondest pie memory.
But I'm an equal opportunity pie eater and I love apple pies, blueberry pies, pecan pies, and whatever. And there's a chicken-and-leek pie in my freezer that I'll probably eat this week.
