Yes. Parents shouldn't force their kids to do activities they don't want to. They can try things but once they've decided they don't like it, they shouldn't be forced to continue. Let the kind find their own passions.

I do....but they should be "encouraged" to do something more than just exist.  Toss out some options, sanctioned by their parents.
