Fireworks are allowed in Serbia and I see them sometimes.
"Safe" fireworks are allowed here in most counties but firecrackers and any exploding stuff isn't. So we just have way overpriced junk! I never buy them nor bother with them although two packages of firecrackers are sitting in my drawer!
Yes, technically firecrackers are illegal in my state, but it is easy to get them in a neighboring state where they are legal. Everyone knows this, and the police do not enforce the firecracker laws unless someone complains, which is rare.
