I owned plenty when I was in my teens, but much later when CDs came out, the overwhelming majority of vinyl records made a quick hiatus.  The only vinyl records I have kept are the 45's and albums by The Beatles.

My son used the "will" card. He said "why should I wait till you die, don't you want to see me enjoying them?" So, I caved.

Too funny. Ours hasn't come up with that one yet.

He's cleaned me out. He has my guitar and amp, my old Erector Sets, etc. His wife let's him display his "memory stuff" in an extra bedroom in their house.

I think that's awesome!

Yeah, recently I got a Pioneer turntable from a record store and bought a few albums. They were all used though. I want to get more into vinyl, but right now I don't own many records.
