Preparation, What Happens When the Lights Go Out?

You've finished the evening meal, and you're putting your feet up after a long day at work.  You settle in to the evening ritual of watching T.V. with your family when suddenly, your T.V. goes fuzzy, and the next thing you hear is "the voice" from your country's Emergency Broadcasting Network advising you to stay indoors, and stay tuned to your radio for further instruction.  In cities, you peek out your window and begin to notice forces in the street cordoning off the intersections while:
