Tim Tebow is a loser and I highly doubt that anyone would want him for a speaker. What would he talk about ? How he can't play football worth a damn and is grasping at straws to make some kind of money? Don't know where you heard this but I highly doubt that either party would want anything to do with him.

The story was on USA Today on-line where he denies that he is going to be a speaker at the Republican National Convention.

@Hitman :

False reporting is an old lib habit, starting at the very top.

 That's how most of them get to the top within their party.

It wasn't the RNC that falsely reported on Tebow being a speaker. It was the NY Times that did the false reporting, when it claimed to have "plans obtained by The New York Times" to that effect.

And of course certain lib partisans in the lying MSM and elsewhere lapped it right up.  :angel:

The roster was obtained by the NY Times, so, the roster had to be created by the RNC.  It was, therefore, the RNC who deceived Tim Tebow and the public.

The announcement was not made by the RNC, so the most that can reasonably be said is that it was off the record information (or perhaps hearsay) obtained by the Times, who, characteristically, could not resist editorializing in their headline about Palin's absence, biased liberal mouthpiece that they are. :)
