In either case, this would be for an entire YEAR!  With that in mind, which would be worse?

For "Oppressive Heat/Humidity", this would mean that even night time temperatures stay above 75°F or 80°F and daytime temperatures would easily reach or exceed the century mark.  Add in humidity and heat index values would be somewhere in the 115°F to 130°F range.

For "Frigid & Snowy", this would mean temperatures would not get above freezing (even during the day) and night time temperatures would likely be around 0°F or less, except when it's snowing.

Now, which would be worse?  If you know me well enough, you know which one I'd pick.

I would prefer the heat; frigid and snowy would be worse.

Crops can't grow when it's frigid and snowy.

And it's much cheaper to take cool showers than to heat your house.

Keep in mind that crops can't grow when it's too hot, either.

I don't think it would be possible to cool off with a cool shower when it's 100+ and humidity is very high.  A/Cs would be running non-stop and power grids would fail, which, in turn, would cause widespread power blackouts.  Plus, you can always add extra layers to keep warm when it's cold, but how much can you remove to cool off when it's hot before you're arrested for "indecent exposure"?  I should have added this to my question, but I didn't think of it at the time.

Since I live in Phoenix, I have adapted to this climate.
